Is WatchDive a dive computer?+
Yes. WatchDive turns your smartwatch into a dive computer. It provides decompression (deco) guidance and a compass, and runs on a Bühlmann-based decompression algorithm. Recommended operating depth is 40 m, with a maximum water-resistance depth of 60 m.
How deep can I use WatchDive?+
The WatchDive housing has completed a water-resistance test at 197 ft (60 m). That test is not an independent certification, and it is not a promise for every environment. Dive within your training and the conditions of the day.
Does it show a safety stop and no-decompression time?+
Yes. A safety stop, an ascent alert, depth, dive time, water temperature and no-decompression time.
Does it work for freediving?+
Yes. Scuba and freediving.

Will my smartwatch work?+

The WatchDive housing uses its built-in DIVEROID pressure and water-temperature sensor with the app. Later, and not in this launch: App Only is planned for Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Galaxy Watch Ultra2, which have built-in depth (pressure) and water-temperature sensors.
How does it work?+
The housing reads pressure and water temperature. Bluetooth carries the readings to the app on your smartwatch.
How long does the battery last, and can it be replaced?+
The battery warranty runs for two years or 1,000 dives, whichever comes first. After that, an authorized WatchDive service center can replace a worn battery for a fee.
