The Watch Dive Housing + App path pairs a supported Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch with the housing's built-in DIVEROID pressure and water-temperature sensor and the app.
Early bird from $149 on Kickstarter — a fraction of the price of a traditional dive computer.

Kickstarter opens November 18
26,321 / 30,000 divers
3,679 spots left
The waitlist is capped at 30,000 divers and closes when it is full.
I always trust DIVEROID gear. You can tell this one was built by people who actually understand what divers need.
I used the older DIVEROID and always found the phone housing a little bulky. In watch form it's as compact as this can get.
From the packaging to the manual to the app localisation, everything is clean and considered. Quality you can be proud of.

Why Watch Dive

Why Watch Dive
Start with the watch you already own, add the sensor housing, and carry each dive into the connected app.
Start with a supported Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch instead of learning and carrying another device.
Your familiar watch works with the sensor housing and connected app — a simpler setup for new and recreational divers.
Built-in pressure and water-temperature sensors send readings to the watch app over Bluetooth.
After you surface, sync the dive profile to the connected app and review it in your logbook.
How it works
Place a supported Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch inside Watch Dive before your dive.

Pressure and water-temperature sensors send readings to the watch app over Bluetooth while you dive.

Sync the dive profile to the connected app and review it in your logbook.

Compatibility
The available path uses the Watch Dive housing's built-in DIVEROID pressure and water-temperature sensor. App Only is a separate option that is not available yet.
Built-in DIVEROID sensor, ready for supported watches.
Your watch does not need a sensor of its own. It goes in the Watch Dive housing, where the built-in DIVEROID sensor measures pressure and water temperature for the app.

Not available yet. Planned for the few watches with built-in depth and water-temperature sensors.

More Housing + App models are being verified — join the waitlist to get the final list at launch.

Follow safety-stop guidance and receive an alert if your ascent gets too fast.
Switch between scuba and freediving modes in the Watch Dive app.
Connected app · Diveroid 3.0
The moment you surface, Watch Dive syncs to the DIVEROID App 3.0 — auto-log every dive, share your footage with live dive data, and discover new sites nearby.
Works with action cameras
Works with GoPro, Insta360, Canon, and more — unified dive log + media in one app. Sync your footage with every dive automatically.
Built for real diving
We completed a 197 ft (60 m) water-resistance test of the Watch Dive housing.
We completed product beta testing during real dives in the ocean.
Built-in pressure and water-temperature sensors send readings to the watch app over Bluetooth.
Watch Dive is a dive aid, not a replacement for proper training. Always dive within your certification and limits, follow standard safety procedures, and keep a backup dive computer.

If the log app added a marine life guide or dive site info it would be close to perfect. I'm looking forward to where it goes.

One watch charger is all I pack now. Losing a proprietary dive computer cable mid-trip is a headache I no longer have.
I hated the bulky, heavy look of most dive computers. Being able to use my own rose gold Apple Watch is a delight.
I think the dive computer market will be split into before and after this. Expensive single-purpose devices are going to struggle.
Among chunky round computers, the square smartwatch display in its housing looks sleek and forward-looking. It photographs beautifully underwater.
